There are different ways to spread the flakes. For a random or full application, you can see the background of the applied resin before spreading the chip. Use a tinted resin the same color as one of the chip flakes in the mix.
Immediately after mixing the chip-receiving material, pour it all onto the floor in a basecoat strip. Apply at a coverage rate of 134–160 square feet per gallon for a wet film thickness of 10–12 mils using a notched trowel. Push the trowel in the same direction as the strip, at a slight angle to push excess material to the side. Moving parallel to the first pass, overlap and continue moving the material down the floor. Roll a 3/8” non-shedding roller over the trowel passes to level.
Immediately spread the flakes into the uncured resin. Pitch the chip flakes upward to spread them evenly. If applying a full application, continue adding flakes until the resin is completely covered.
Note: Do not pour or allow flakes to accumulate on the floor.
Once the coating layer under the chip has hardened enough to be walkable, remove any loose or excess flakes from the surface. Seal the flakes with a layer of epoxy or polyaspartic grout.

Partial Coverage: 0.5 lb. per 100 sq. ft ->40 lb. box per 10,000 sq. ft.
Total coverage: 16.7 Lbs per 100 sq. ft->40 lb. box per 300 sq. ft.

Flakes are a mixture of multi-colored vinyl paint flakes composed of water-based resin materials containing high-quality additives and color pigments. The decorative flakes are integrally colored and are produced in 1/8" and 1/4" sizes.

NOVA BUILD warrants this product to be free from material defects that affect its performance for a period of one year (from the date of purchase). NOVA BUILD will replace, free of charge, any quantity of siding determined by NOVA BUILD to have failed, as the sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty and/or any other defect or failure of the siding. Proof of purchase is required. Labor costs for the application of any particular product are excluded. The warranty is void if NOVA BUILD products are mixed or used in conjunction with materials that are substituted for NOVA BUILD products. The warranty is not transferable.

If the local delivery option does not appear during checkout, your order is not eligible for local delivery.

Orders eligible for local delivery placed before 12 pm during our 9 am to 5 pm business hours will be delivered the same day. Orders placed outside of these hours will be delivered the next business day.

Orders are typically shipped within 24 hours using FedEx . There is no flat rate shipping fee for orders shipped to locations outside the local region. We currently do not ship outside the United States.
